You will make an early start from your Mombasa base, and drive on the Mombasa – Nairobi highway to enter the Tsavo East National Park through the Bachuma gate. You will immediately proceed on an extensive morning game viewing drive en route to your Camp with a stopover at the Aruba dam, a popular man-made watering hole for game and one of the best places to view and photograph this park’s resident game, especially Tsavo’s famous herds of elephant. Lunch is at a camp / lodge. Rest of the afternoon at leisure to relax in your room.
Early evening, you will be taken on a walking safari escorted by an armed KWS Ranger (min 04 pax required) to the Lugard’s Falls along the Galana River. At the end of the walk, enjoy the sundown from the top of the hills overlooking the Yatta Plateau – the world’s largest lava flow before returning to your camp.
Dinner and overnight at the Galdessa Camp or similar.
