MRS022- 03 DAYS: ROYALTY IN THE BUSH |

Day 1: |
You will make an early departure and drive the Tsavo West National Park. A morning game viewing drive follows en route to your camp, arriving at the camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you will depart for another game viewing drive in this vast national park, with its fine extensive plains, lava flows and steep rocky hills. The highlight of this game drive will be a visit to the Mzima Springs, a natural wonder of underground rivers flowing from the Chyulu Hills into a marvelous eruption of crystal clear water forming a natural Jacuzzi for hippos and crocodiles. Return to the luxurious camp in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at the Finch Hattons Tented Camp or similar. |
Day 2: |
You will start with an early morning game walk around the vicinity of the camp escorted by the resident Ranger. This is the best time to update your bird count and also get to see the smaller game found within the park. Return to the camp for breakfast. Rest of the morning will be spent at leisure as you relax at your verandah to enjoy the camp facilities as well as viewing the animals coming close to the camp from a distance. A sumptuous lunch is served and thereafter, you will be taken on another extensive game viewing that lasts till sundowner. Dinner and overnight at the Finch Hattons Camp or similar. |
Day 3: |
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to this camp, beautifully built by Denys Finch Hatton. Depart with game viewing en route to exit the park through the Tsavo River gate and drive. Lunch will be at a restaurant on the outskirts of Voi town. Thereafter, drive down to Mombasa arriving in the early evening. |
